Vert Series Final Event!

This just came through from our man in the field, Wingy:

Afternoon all,

This Sunday 5th July is Final Leg of the Independent Vert Series at Creation Skatepark Birmingham.

It’s looking tight for the Title Sam Beckett is on Favourite to win the series for the A group but if he drops a few places Sam Bosworth can take Victory.

Same in the B Group very tight for all top 3 places between Oakley Liddel,Joe Atkins and Nick Hanson.

And  we now have some tasty cash for Best trick to finish the series off.

With just about all riders in attendance this is defiantly going to be a absolute belter!

Look forward to seeing  you all in Brum!!

Free Skate - The Works, Leeds

The Works Skatepark is Absolutely free to all children in the UK under 18yrs and for those 18+  all sessions fees are £2 from July 25th – Sept 1st

Skateboarding can solve all the world’s problems. Well maybe not all, but it could definitely do a lot in the way of child obesity and climate change. A pioneering British scheme to get kids into the sport is attracting more recruits by the day whilst supporting local stores and parks. Perhaps it’s just a question of time before we see skateboarding on school schedules everywhere…

The Andy Evans crafted Gravity edit of the Wakefield Skatepark official opening is now online, featuring a bit of background to the parks history, as well as more skating from the day, with the likes of Mike Wright, Manhead, Marc Churchill, Greg Nowik, Stu Graham and Craig Smedley!
