Stockport Bones to reopen. PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 13 June 2007
A inliner called Steve now owns Bones in Stockport and is refurbishing it with a view to reopening by the end of the month.

Taken from MAS messageboard.

Had a mosey on down to stocky this afternoon. Had a chat with Steve the new owner and had a quick butchers at what's going on inside Smile

First off Steve (despite being a fruit booter) seems a thoroughly nice chap, very enthusiastic and very obviously committed to the project.

First impressions are good Very Happy the place is much cleaner and brighter with all walls now painted and hole free. the kitchen has gone and the "beginners room" is now wider and extra ramps are being constructed as i type.

Repairs have been made to the ramps and flat banks in the middle room The basic layout remains the same (nowt wrong with that) and again, much brighter. I asked Steve if the ceiling and girders had been repainted but apparently not, its just the result of 3 days worth of cleaning Shocked

Best news of all though, a few replacement panels in the bowl and it looks like the surface had been sanded avvv iiittt Laughing

The midi down stairs has been sanded though the surface doesn't look fantastic, think Steve mentioned it will be re skinned in time. Least it wont be slippy now.

The aim is to get the park open by the end of this month.

Nice one Steve Wink
