Monday, 01 December 2008
The annual CROSSFIRE XMAS SKATE JAM in association with Emerica, Altamont and Ricta Wheels returns to Bay Sixty 6 Skatepark in West London’s Ladbroke Grove on Saturday 13th December.  This year Crossfire is using the jam to make a stand against knife crime supported by It Doesn’t Have to Happen*. Join them, help put an end to knife crime and spread the word.

Now in its 6th year, the Crossfire Xmas Jam is the UK’s biggest attended Xmas skateboard event in the UK. This year expect prizes for open format best trick comps for unsponsored riders from 1pm-3pm followed by the UK and Europe’s very best pro skateboarders battling it out to win £1000 prize money from the Emerica Best Trick comp in the street course and the Ricta Mini Ramp Jam until 6pm. Fos is also designing an obstacle for it.

Pro skaters will be present from Emerica, Death Skateboards, Blueprint Skateboards, Landscape Skateboards, Heroin Skateboards, Cliché Skateboards, Ricta Wheels, Mob Grip, Kill City Skateboards, The Gyppo Army, Lovenskate, Jart Skateboards, The Harmony, Plan B Skateboards, DGK, Casual Skateboards, Karma Skateboards, Crayon Skateboards, Science Skateboards and Drawing Boards plus Sidewalk Magazine will be there to capture the full day for a future feature.

The day will end with Xmas coming early for kids with a product toss of the highest order so expect many freebies and a cracking after party. Note the afterparty is guest list only so sort yourself out now. All info can be found at http://www.caughtinthecrossfire.com
