The TG’s Project was founded in 2004 in memory of Tim Greenwood, a Malvern skater who died of leukaemia. It was launched by Parkside Church Youth Group where he was a member. Organisers are applying for a grant of £3,845,000 from the Government’s Myplace fund. |

30-year skate park wait over 24 July 2008 Cheddar Valley Gazette Planning permission has finally been granted for a skate park and BMX area to be built at the Sharpham Road playing fields in Cheddar. The park, expected to cost about £200,000, will cover 6,500sq ft and contain 14 separate features, including a kidney bowl, quarter pipes, curved ledges and grind rails, plus lighting and litter bins. |
